Welcome

Silverwood Child Care Centre provides a warm and inviting atmosphere for children to explore, interact, learn and most of all, develop and encourage their own individual personalities.

The centre embraces diversity and welcomes families from all backgrounds and cultures. This ethos is reflected in all our practices, including our weekly meal plans. Our team of 19 culturally diverse educators create an environment where each culture is acknowledged, celebrated and respected.

We provide education and care for up to 59 children ranging from age group 0 – 5 years old. Our large outdoor playground and play environment are well maintained and encourage children to explore and play.

Hours of Operation and Fees

Full day rate $132 (Babies & Toddlers) $130 (Kindy)

Monday to Friday 7.15 am – 6 pm

The centre is closed on public holidays and over the Christmas and New Year period.

Enrolment and Initial Tour

Our service provides a comprehensive enrolment process to ensure that all families are well informed and confident about policies, procedures, routine and centre’s philosophy.  During our centre tour we will discuss –

Orientation

Children learn best when confident and secure in their relationships, to nurture and establish a warm and trusting relationship with families and children, we encourage all families to visit our service for orientation. Visits can be booked between 9.30 am and 10.45 am, or in the afternoon 2 pm and 4 pm. We suggest two to three hourly visits before the starting day. The orientation structure is negotiable depending on a family’s individual needs.
